I have experience with all voices and we will work on basic good singing

technique, which will be useful in all styles of music – classical, folk,

contemporary, musical theatre etc.

You can learn how to use your lower chest voice, as well as open up into your higher register smoothly. It’s very rewarding for my students, as they usually improve quite quickly which is really encouraging! We will also laugh a lot, too!

I offer to Mulberry Zingers Choir members either of the following;

VOCAL DISCOVERY SESSION;

This is a 30 minute session to see where your voice is, perhaps find out where you should be singing and which vocal range you have.

I will take you through vocal warmup exercises which will gradually extend your range, and cover technique and breathing.

If a new member isn't sure of their voice this can be a good place to start and give some reassurance.                                                                Members' price £20

121 LESSON; this is a ONE-HOUR lesson with all of the above. Then we will usually work on a song, either of your choice or one that I think would be most useful to your voice, to start using some of the skills you will learn. This could be in any style, as I believe it is important that you like what you are singing. Very rewarding, you will see some improvement straight away.
