1-2-1 singing lessons
Heather offers private 1-2-1 singing lessons in her music room at her home in Tenterden.
(Remote lessons also available)
Heather has experience with all voices and you will work on basic good singing technique, which will
be useful in all styles of music – classical, folk, contemporary, musical theatre etc.
You can learn how to use your lower chest voice, as well as open up into your higher register smoothly. It’s very rewarding for her students, as they usually improve quite quickly which is really encouraging!
Heather will take you through vocal warmup exercises which will gradually extend your range, and cover technique and breathing. Then you will usually work on a song, either of your choice or one that she thinks would be most useful to your voice. This could be in any style, as Heather believes it is important that you like what you are singing.
You will also laugh a lot, too!
Lessons are £45 for an hour session.

I had not sung in 20 years when I first started singing classes with Heather. Her approach is to be strongly encouraging, and with many years industry experience she has helped me find my voice, learn different techniques and to be a more confident singer. It is fun and I am enjoying it!
